(Cone Beam Computed Tomography)

You won’t find this equipment in many small clinics! In our pursuit to provide ever better standards of care, this is Klinik Pergigian Hazlina’s latest acquisition, and many of the surrounding dental clinics send their patients our way for their imaging needs.

A CBCT scanner is a very detailed type of digital imaging x-ray machine. By using cone shaped beams, the CBCT scanner can generate and reconstruct 3D images of teeth, facial structures, nerve paths and soft tissue in a single scan.

These 3D images are particularly useful in surgical planning for minor oral surgery (complicated extractions), implant procedures, endodontic procedures (such as Root Canal treatments), planning in certain orthodontic treatments and to evaluate the jaw, sinuses and nerve canals.
